Pro Co Stage Sound is a family run business now operating in Adelaide, South Australia.
Pro Co Stage Sound has its origins in Whyalla, South Australia. Ron Hay started the business in the mid 1980s following his retirement from playing in local bands. He had acquired a large PA and lighting system that supported the band’s touring gigs and this became the foundation for a hire business.
Through the years, the business expanded into sales and installation of PA, lighting, broadcast and recording equipment across the Eyre Peninsula, and wider South Australia. The hire business grew to include backline musical instruments, and for music tuition.
Sadly, the business was closed in 2020 due to Ron’s ill health.
